Where it all started...
Bornin2fashion was created by ME, owner, Tyra Wilkins. You could say I was raised in a fashion forward household. My mother was a seamstress, that shared her love of fashion and gift of sewing with students all over the world! Lets just say I was "BORN into FASHION"!! I started this journey in Fall 2019. I noticed my love for denim jackets became a bit of an obsession. While my collection of jackets were different, when stepping out I wanted to make a statement! That's when I decided to add my first few patches. From there, I was encouraged by a friend to take it to the next level, so I started adding a few paint designs. And no, I'm NOT a professional artist. It wasn't really until 2020, during the pandemic (YES...some good did come out of COVID-19), that I decided to dive into this creative journey. It was important for me to create freestyle pieces that stood out! One of a kind jackets that created conversation. Listen baby, these jackets are made w/ LOVE! Yup, to all my fashionistas, I hope you love my jackets, as much as I love making them.

My patches are purchases from a variety of vendors (I did not produce any of the patches used). I am committed to providing you styles that have quality built in.
